Services & Options.

We have two discreet vehicles to collect your pet from your stable, paddock or veterinary centre. We are on call 7 days a week and offer an out of hours service, this includes all bank holidays.

You can ring me any time for advice or to talk through all your options. Our service can be arranged by you, a friend or your vet. We can collect at a pre- arranged time and date, we can be present when your vet arrives to put your horse to sleep or we can arrive a little while later when you have spent some time alone with your loved one. If you need us in an emergency, or think the time has come sooner than was expected to say goodbye to your loved friend and require collection immediately, we will try our best to be with you within one to two hours, or the time it takes to travel the distance to you. We operate within a hundred mile radius of our premises but will happily collect nationwide if required.

Euthanasia can be arranged with your vet to be done by injection or we can do this service for you using a free bullet humane pistol method, myself, John and Roger are licensed and experienced with this method. The choice is always yours to make and I can talk you through both methods if required.

Individual cremation is when your horse or pony is cremated on its own. Your ashes can be returned in a wicker woven scatter box, which can be buried possibly with a tree, bush or flower planted above to remember your friend by, or the ashes can be scattered over a favourite ride or in the paddock your friend used to graze. We also offer a solid oak casket with a brass name plate engraved to your personal requirements. We aim to have your pets ashes back to you usually within one week.

We offer token ashes which is a smaller amount of ash returned in a casket with a nameplate or a scatter tube, we also offer simple disposal which is without the return of any ash, which ever option you chose you will be treated in a caring, compassionate and supportive manner.

Casket details

Oak casket: Solid oak casket in a medium stain, this includes a brass name plate engraved with your choice of words, and the casket comes with felt pads underneath to stop scratches on polished surfaces.

Wicker Casket: This is a wicker woven square casket with a linen lining and attached lid.

Scatter Box: This is a wicker woven oval casket with a linen lining and separate lid.

Token Ashes: This is a bluebell patterned or Autumn patterned scatter tube made out of cardboard.
